In my career I have gathered skills and experiences from a variety of roles and in a variety of industries, both in large organisations as a consultant or in startups.
Considering my double nature of programmer and UX/UI designer, wearing a number of hats is not only something I am completely comfortable with but something I truly relish!

I have more than five years of experience helping startups and big companies in London and in Italy to improve their user experience and to provide usable and eye catching user interfaces

Taking advantage of my double background as iOS programmer and UX/UI designer it was easy for me to manage teams of programmers and designers and ensure each project was delivered on time
My Process
DEFINE
I gain an empathic understanding of the problem I’m trying to solve and then I define the problem using the gathered information.
IDEATE
I then Identify new solutions to the problem statement and I try to look for alternative ways of viewing the problem.
Design
I implement the solutions using prototypes and I use them to gain real users feedbacks and to validate the solutions.
Test
I finally test the complete product using the best solutions identified during the prototyping phase. I then eventually use the gathered data to redefine the previous steps.

As a UX/UI designer and team manager for the Ministry of Public Education in Italy, I am responsible for managing a team of frontend developers and provide them designs in order to create user-friendly and visually appealing digital resources for the ministry.
In my role as team manager, I have worked to ensure that our team is able to collaborate effectively and meet project deadlines. I have also been responsible for communicating with stakeholders to ensure that their needs are being met.
Overall, my work as a UX/UI designer and team manager for the Ministry of Public Education has been extremely rewarding, as I have been able to make a positive impact on the education system in Italy. I am constantly learning and growing in my role, and I am excited to continue working on innovative and impactful projects in the future.

I worked together with Pitti to deliver their catalogue navigation and order taking app. I took care of all the development and I gave my contribution to improve the mockups provided by their design department.
I designed the overall UX and IA and followed the implementation managing a team of iOS developers, handling the deadlines planning and assigning and prioritising tasks..
The app has been a success and Fiera Digitale, the digital department of Pitti Uomo, sold its solution to some of the biggest fashion resellers in Italy and Europe.

CHILI TV
CHILI TV SPA
I worked with Chili TV, a big Italian video streaming platform in order to improve their existing mobile apps.
During the renovation process of the app, I worked with the design team in order to improve the overall platform experience and UI on every supported device (desktop, smart TV, Android and iOS) using the current metrics and statistics as a starting point.
The apps has been launched in many European countries and it counts now over 500000 users.
Thanks to the new platform success, Chili TV made important deals with big companies like Hulu or Warner Bros.

My career has been built in a variety of roles and industries, mostly in big companies as a consultant and at startups. Given my experience as both a programmer and UX designer, I’m not only used to juggling multiple responsibilities, I actually enjoy it. I thrive in an environment where no two working days are exactly the same.
I’m a passionate tech fan and design lover. I always try to keep the pace with the blazing fast tech industry and I love trying new devices and apps, I also love drawing and going to design exhibitions because I think inspiration for great ideas can come from every source.
In addition to my passion for technology I love going to concerts, travelling and going running.
